Age Limit: Candidates age should be 32 years for S.No-1 & 37 years for S.No-2 as on 30-09-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.E/ M.Tech (Electronics & Control/ Instrumentation & Control/ Advanced Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation and other relevant disciplines) or equivalent with 03 years’ experience or Ph.D (Engineering).

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on examination/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs.100/- for General/ OBC candidates. The fee is to be deposited directly in any branch of State Bank of India into the Power Jyoti Account Number 33004547024 [maintained at State Bank of India, Sector 30-C, Chandigarh]. No Fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad candidates category.

ONLINE: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website “www.csio.res.in” from 30-08-2015 to 30-09-2015 up to 05:00 PM and send their duly signed hard copy (printout) of online application along with recent passport size photograph & accompanied by self attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications (including conversion formula from CGPA to percentage), experience certificate, re-prints of publications and caste certificate & Fee Deposit Slip (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope (separate envelope for each post) superscribed “Application for the post of ________ (Post Code ________)” by Registered/ Speed Post addressed to The Administrative Officer, CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Sector 30-C, Chandigarh-160030 (India) on or before 12-10-2015.
