Age Limit: Candidates age should be 32 years for Scientist, 37 years for Sr Scientist, 45 years for Principal Scientist, 50 years for Sr Principal Scientist as on 10-10-2015. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST/ regular employees working in CSIR laboratories/ institutes, Government Departments, autonomous bodies and public sector undertakings, 3 years for OBC candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D (Submitted) in Chemistry/ Physics/ Polymer Science for Scientist, Ph.D in Chemistry/ Physics/ Polymer Science with relevant experience for Sr Scientist, Ph.D in Chemistry/ Material Sciences/ Biological Sciences with relevant experience for Principal Scientist/ Senior Principal Scientist.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on examination/ interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- (No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad Candidates) through Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of Director, CSIR-IICT payable at Hyderabad.
