Age Limit: Candidates age limit should between 21 to 26 years for S.No-1, 18 to 45 years for S.No-2 to 18 as on 01-01-2015. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduation for S.No-1, 2, 6, 7 & 13, 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/ University & typing knowledge for S.No-3, 4, 5, 8 & 14, B.Com for S.No-9, B.Sc with Diploma for S.No-10, Matriculation, Diploma in Civil Engineering for S.No-11, Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering for S.No-12, B.Com or B.A/ B.Sc for S.No-15, Matriculation with Diploma in Electrical & Electronics for S.No-16, Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent or Diploma or PG Diploma in Coaches for S.No-17, B.Sc (Horticulture) for S.No-18.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on objective type screening test, skill test & interview of those who qualify objective type screening & skill test.

Application Form & Fee: Application forms are available in all the post offices/ sub post offices of Himachal Pradesh. The cost of application form is 360/- for General Category Candidates and 120/- for reserved categories. Ex-Servicemen and visually handicapped candidates are exempted from examination fee.

OFFLINE: Eligible candidates can send their application in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of age proof, qualification certificates/ mark sheets, caste certificate, one window envelope after affixing postal stamps of Rs. 6/- or of prevalent rate, one passport size recent photograph, Acknowledgement Card after affixing postal stamps of Rs. 6/- or of prevalent rate, etc & other relevant documents to the Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) – 177 001 on or before 12-08-2015 & for Lahaul & Spiti District, Kinnaur District, Pangi & Bharmour Sub-Divisions of Chamba District and Dodra Kawar Sub-Division of Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh on or before 27-08-2015.
