Educational Qualification: Candidates should
possess Master Degree and Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in
Comparative Indian Language and Literature or Comparative Literature or English
or Linguistics or any ancient / or Modern Indian Language and Literature, Ph.D
with Master Degree in allied subject & must have cleared
the NET conducted by the UGC (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the
UGC like NET/ SLET & must have knowledge of Bengali Language.
Selection Process: Candidates will be called for interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- (Rs. 75/-
for SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped candidates) through Bank demand draft drawn
in favour of The Registrar, University of Calcutta.
Application Form: Candidates may obtain application forms from
the University Sales Counter, 87/1, College Street, Kolkat 73 on
payment of Rs. 300/- (Rs. 75/- for SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped candidates on
submission of appropriate documents to the Sales Counter) or may download from
the University website..
